Last Thursday night I had the pleasure of attending the first Apple store opening here in Louisville, Kentucky at the Oxmore Mall. I was pretty amazed by the entire event. There were close to 1000 people standing in line. I waited for up to an hour and a half, and there was lots of shouting, screaming, and doing the countdown. It was not only my first Apple Store opening, but the first time I’ve ever stepped foot in an Apple Store. Quite honestly, I never “got” the concept until I saw it first hand. It’s really remarkable. Once again I’m wondering why I don’t own more Apple stock. The employees were very helpful and kind and the whole thing was up to Apple standards.
